CD Projekt, a Polish video game company headquartered in Warsaw, has announced 100 job cuts.The redundancies are planned due to the company aiming to cut costs. CD Projekt has been performing poorly, and declining on the stock market. The poor performance of the company is linked to consumers' unfavourable reception of the game 'Cyberpunk 2077'. The planned layoffs are expected to be carried out until March of 2024, and will especially affect specialists who are currently finishing projects and for whom the company is not planning new tasks for the next year.
CD Projekt is a Polish joint-stock company involved in the production and distribution of computer games, which was ranked as the most valuable Polish company in 2020.
