Description

German luxury vehicle manufacturer BMW has opened its Future Mobility Development Center (FMDC) in Sokolov, creating 100 new jobs.

The facility is the largest test centre that BMW has, and the largest in Europe, employing 100 people. As of now, there is no information as to when the recruitment will be concluded, however, the site is already being operated by the new employees. The facility will develop future BMW products and focus on automation and self-driving cars, which are now being tested at the centre. The primary focus of the FMDC is to advance autonomous driving capabilities, with the goal to improve the safety of driving.
