Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Austrian company Gebauer & Griller Group, a manufacturer of technically advanced, high-quality cables and harnesses for automotive and industrial applications, will invest 60 million BGN (30 million Euro) in a plant for automotive components in Ruse. The planned investment will create 400 new jobs. The new facility will produce high-tech components for electric vehicles, such as high voltage wiring harnesses. The plant will start operating with 100 employees, expecting the first ground-breaking to be made this year. Pre-production is planned for the summer of 2024, with the start of series production in the summer of 2025.
The Gebauer & Griller group is located in Europe in Austria, Germany, and Moldova, as well as in China, Mexico and in the United States.
