Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

CrisTim, a Romanian company active in the agribusiness sector, has announced the creation of 200 new jobs at its Filipestii de Padure plant (Prahova County). Following investmnets worth around €230 million, CrisTim plans to reach 2,700 employees by the end of 2023.
Given its location in small town, the plant recruits employees from as far as 100km away. In addition to salaries, employees receive a generous package of benefits including health insurance and the opportunity to secure advantageous loans from the company.
