Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Software company, ServiceNow, is to create 400 jobs over the next three years at its Dublin office. Recruitment has already begun for the new roles which will be across digital sales, engineering and research and development. The jobs will be at all levels, with a focus on early-in-career opportunities, and some of the new roles will offer hybrid working, where possible. The company opened its location in Dublin in 2018 and it is now one of ServiceNow’s largest locations with 400 people employed there. ServiceNow offers a cloud-based platform for automating workflows, using different technologies that simplify how businesses work with a view to making them more efficient.
