European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Mantinga, the largest producer of bread, snacks and frozen products in the Baltic States, offers 150 jobs to production workers in Marijampolė city. As production capacity grows, company is looking for operators, packers and moulders. The need for new staff is determined not only by the opening of a new line, but also by the increased demand for snacks and sandwiches in the summer period. However, according to the company, this does not mean that it is only looking for summer workers – the company needs permanent staff.
Mandinga is opened to all employees including third country nationals, young people with no experience and/or older employees. The company offers flexible working schedules and additional benefits for the staff, such as supplementary health insurance, free summer camps for children, and a shuttle service.
The company, which opened a new puff-pastry line in May, currently employs approx. 1,600 people, mostly in production. Mantinga currently operates four factories: three in Marijampolė and one in Latvia. The company's product range consists of 1000 products and is exported to more than 40 countries.
