Microsoft's Portugal subsidiary annouced an internal restructuring process that will lead to a collective dismissal of more than 100 workers. Microsoft did not clarify which areas and functions will be more affected. Organizational adjustments are, according to the company, the main reason to justify the collective dismissal.

In January 2023, the Microsoft group had announced its intention to reduce its workforce worldwide with 10,000 job cuts until the end of the year (Microsoft-2023-WO).
