Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Saab Surveillance, the SAAB Group's business area for military radar systems, is under expansion and will hire 200 new employees during the year 2023 to its business facility in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The company is seeing and influx of large orders from European and North American NATO-countries as a result of the war in Ukraine. Saab's order intake was approximately SEK 17 billion (€1.5 billion) for the year's first quarter, which is more than double compared to the same period in 2022. The growth is especially strong in the business areas of Surveillance and Dynamics.
The company has increased its staff by 500 during the first quarter of 2023.
The company employs almost 19,600 people worldwide and operates in over 30 countries, according to the company's interim report.
