Japanese auto industry supplier Seiren officially inaugurated a new plant in Pécs and 170 new jobs will be created at the new production site. The plant will produce synthetic leather seat covers for the European automotive industry.
The investment cost surpassed €42 million, almost one-third of which was provided by the Hungarian government as a non-refundable grant. The minister emphasized that the investment will contribute to the expansion of the Hungarian automotive industry.
The plant is the first European site of the company.
