The French company Safran, which manufactures parts for aircraft machinery, has announced the recruitment of 100 new employees between now and 2027 for its plant located in Commercy. The plant, operated by Safran in cooperation with Albany International, specialises in the production of fan blades and casings, parts that equip the Leap engine on the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 Max. The new hires are part of a 5-year investment plan to increase production and develop a new on-site remanufacturing activity for these composite parts.
