Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Schmidt Groupe is looking to recruit around a hundred people on permanent contracts at its Sélestat site (Bas-Rhin). It will also continue to invest €10 million over five years to extend the living spaces for employees at Lièpvre and Sélestat. This investment is part of the €150 million investment plan announced at the end of 2021.
In a second phase, the group, which owns several kitchen brands, has announced 70 new shop openings. More than 1,000 positions will need to be filled during this second phase, with a recruitment campaign focusing on the search of sales designer.
The company recruted 200 people last year (FR-Schmidt-Groupe-2022).
