Description

Farnell, a distribution platform for electronics and electronical parts has announced it will be closing its facility in Liege, all 192 employees are at risk of losing their job.

There is currently no clear reasoning why the closure is announced, the local trade union delegations react with surprise on the news and did not see this closure coming. As is obligatory via the so-called Renault Law, trade unions will now be informed and negotiations will start with the company management.

Updated, 12/12/23 After concluded trade union negotiations, 189 employees will lose their jobs.
