European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Medical device multination Boston Scientific is to create 400 new jobs over the next three years, at its site in Clonmel, as part of an €80m investment in manufacturing and R&D capabilities. Hiring for the new roles at the Clonmel site is already underway and positions include roles within production, engineering, quality, supply chain and R&D functions.
Currently, Boston Scientific has a workforce of more than 6,500 people across its three Irish sites - in Galway, Clonmel and Cork – with 4,150 employed at the Galway site.
