Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Project44, a company optimising logistics, will employ 180 people in its new office in Krakow.
Newly opened on the 16th of May, the office is to serve as a hub for global supply chain innovation work in the region, the office in Poland is a key part of the company's growth strategy in Europe; 180 people will find employment there, working on a cloud-based advanced visibility platform for shippers and logistics service providers.
Project44 is the visibility platform for shippers and logistics service providers, supporting brands like Amazon, Walgreens, Bosch, ExxonMobil, or Uber Freight with providing them with e.g. shipment information or the automation of inefficient manual processes.
