ITP Aero, an Spanish aeronautical and industrial engines manufacturer with locations in Basque country, Madrid, Castilla La Mancha and Andalusia, has announced its intention to increase its employment by 400 workers by 2023. In the Defence area, ITP Aero expects to generate more than 250 highly qualified jobs over the next 3 years at its centres in Madrid and the Basque Country. Among the engineering profiles it will need there are aerothermics, control systems, method development, advanced testing, materials, digitalisation and software, electrification and in-service support. These will be highly specialised, long-term jobs focused on aerospace propulsion systems.
In 2022, ITP Aero increased its workforce by 8%, to 4,700 workers.
