SPAR Hrvatska, the Croatian unit of Austrian food retail group SPAR, has invested over €4 million in its INTERSPAR hypermarket in Kukuljanovo, near the City of Rijeka and opens 100 new working places. The intention of the company is to strengthen its position in the northern Adriatic. The new hypermarket has a retail sales area of over 3,500 square metres and offers more than 25,000 food and non-food products. A special feature of the newest hypermarket is the regional block, where in one place the products of small, local producers and suppliers are offered.
