Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Stellantis Group, an automotive manufacturer, has announced plans to hire 600 new employees at its Gliwice factory during May 2023. Representatives of the group announced that from the beginning of June, a third production line will be launched at the factory; the newly employed people will join those already working on the production line. The increase in production is linked to the development of activities in the area of LCV production and modern information technology.
Stellantis N.V. is a multinational automotive manufacturing corporation formed in 2021 on the basis of a 50–50 cross-border merger between the Italian-American conglomerate Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the French PSA Group.
