Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The German company Isringhausen, a manufacturer of car seating systems and technical springs, has opened a factory in the Ujazd Commune's Economic Activity Zone (Strefa Aktywności Gospodarczej gminy Ujazd), where 120 people will find employment. The factory will produce modern car seats for the car models of the Stellanis Group, which has production in nearby Gliwice; the factory was officially opened on 4 May (at which time 90 people were employed), while on 19 June a third production shift will be opened and another 30 people will be employed; manufacturing workers will be employed.
Isringhausen is a company of the Aunde Group, which is the manufacturer of seating systems and technical springs. The company has 52 production sites in 20 countries, where seats for trucks, vans, transporters, buses, minibuses and off-road vehicles are manufactured.
