Both sites in Lower Austria, Ulmerfeld-Hausmening and Kematen are affected. The company has developed a new product portfolio, focusing on the production of luxury packaging, graphic printing and on paper for technical applications among others. In exchange, the previous focus on high-quality office and printing paper will be scaled back, which is why the paper machine 6 (PM6), operation since 1982, will be shut down.
