Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Grand Large Yachting group, which builds sailboats, has announced that it is looking to recruit another 100 employees this year, after having already made around 100 hires since the beginning of the year. However, the group is facing recruitment difficulties and therefore is struggling to shorten its delivery times. The 100 positions to be filled mainly concern carpentry, boiler making, electricity, painting, plumbing and fittings. The group's objective is to reach a turnover of €120 million, compared to €93 million currently.
A previous recruitment announcement has been recorded in the ERM database in 2022 with 100 recruitments in another site at La Grande Motte (Hérault) (FR-Grand-Large-Yachting-2022)
