Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
HCL Technologies Limited, an Indian company, specialized in the provision of information technology services and consulting, announced plans to create 1,000 new positions by the end of 2024. One third of the 1,000 positions will be open to university graduates who will be recruited based on partnerships with leading Romanian universities. The company offers a wider internship programme in Romania, preparing students for entry-level positions in the IT sector.
