Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Dutch reatiler Action wants to expand in 2023 by hiring more than 700 new employees in its 30 shops in Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto and Emilia Romagna.
Action has a diverse workforce of over 80,000 employees from 136 countries in Europe, with over 8,000 new jobs created in 2022, and a significant focus on employee training and promotion. The company reported strong financial results in 2021, with revenues of €8.9 billion and operating EBITDA of €1.2 billion.
