European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Indeed, the job-listing platform, has announced a global restructuring plan which will cut 2,200 jobs from its workforce. The company has stated the job cuts will impact all teams, functions, levels and regions of the company. After COVID-19, job market vacancies in key markets have dropped and it is forecasted this trend will continue. This and the 33% drop in sponsored job advertisements are stated as the drivers of this restructuring. It is unclear what specific locations and units will be impacted. Further, there has been no disclosure of the restructuring process for employees or the role of trade unions.
