Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Żabka Polska has announced plans to open a new logistics centre in Małopol near Radzymin, for which it is currently conducting the second round of recruiting a workforce of 600 people, of whom 200 have already been hired. The opening of the new facility with a floor space of around 60,000 m2 and intended to cater for supplying 3,500 shops of the abka franchis, is planned for the second quarter of 2023.
The employees currently sought are automation specialists, maintenance operators, mechanics, warehouse and forklift operators, as well as management staff - shift coordinators and a manager for the dispatch fulfilment area.
Żabka is a chain of small convenience stores operating in Poland on a franchise basis, established in 1998.
