Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Spanish low cost airline, Volotea, has announced a business expansion, involving a recruitment campaign for 300 flight attendant positions in France and Spain.
The company will increase its workforce in Bilbao (Spain) by making 45 new positions available, and at its French regional bases (Nantes, Marseille, Lille, Toulouse) with 255 new cadres.
Volotea, which caters for flight routes between small and medium-sized European cities, is increasingly becoming a major player within the airline sector of France - its largest market. The company has been expending its operations with plans for 2023 to operate no less than 17,000 flights to 107 destinations from Spain alone, making this is the largest flight programme in Volotea's history.
