Description
As announced on 22 February 2023, the French aircraft manufacturer Airbus will be creating 3500 new jobs in Germany in 2023. Labour Director Mr. Wagner said that 1900 new employees are needed in commercial aircraft manufacturing, 1100 in military and aerospace aircraft manufacturing and 500 at the helicopter plant. Airbus is looking for electricians, mechanics, cabin outfitters, IT specialists, cybersecurity experts and developers of fuel cells and hybrid propulsion systems. Of the new hirings, 1300 will be located in Hamburg, 500 in Donauwörth, 500 in Manching, 300 in Ottobrunn, 250 in Nodenham, 130 in Friedrichshafen/Immenstadt, 100 in Bremen and 100 in Stade.
Airbus has currently 45,000 employees in Germany.
