Description
As part of it's global restructuring plan, Multinational software company Salesforce is to cut 200 jobs in Ireland. In January 2023, the company announced it would be cutting 10% of its staff worldwide under a restructuring plan aimed at cutting costs and the job losses at Salesforce’s Dublin office are part of these wider global cost-saving measures. The timeline as well as departments impacted are not clear at this stage.
Salesforce recently developed a new campus in Dublin’s docklands, which acts as its European headquarters and which can accommodate over 3000 workers. The company currently employs 2100 people in Ireland.
The global restructuring plan for Salesforce, cutting 7900 jobs, has been recorded in the ERM database (Salesforce-2023-WO).
