Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The urban passenger transport operator, Keolis Lyon, wants to recruit 800 additional employees in 2023, including 500 drivers for the Lyon urban transport network, TCL. The TCL network has recovered almost 90% of its traffic volume in 2022, compared to 2019. Until 2022 the service has been affected by the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and the lack of staff.
This subsidiary of the SNCF group is counting on the multiplication of its partnerships over the last few months to attract new recruits. In 2022 Keolis Lyon recruited 580 employees.
Three former job creations have been recorded on the ERM database, in June 2018 with 500 job creations (FR-Keolis-Lyon-2018), in April 2019 with 100 job creations (FR-Keolis-Lyon-2019a) and in September 2019, with 250 job creations (FR-Keolis-Lyon-2019b).
