Description
OLX, which is an online marketplace platform operating in Poland, has announced it will be reducing its workforce. The group's owner, Naspers, has announced plans to lay off up to 30 percent of employees from its corporate structures.
Paulina Musielak-Rezmer, PR Lead at the OLX Group, has made a statement that the decision is a consequence of the current macroeconomic situation by which major online platforms have been affected. OLX currently has more than 1,000 employees in Poland, so the layoffs can affect up to 300 people. OLX is a Dutch-based online marketplace headquartered in Amsterdam, owned by South African global media and technology group Naspers. It operates in more than 40 countries and is currently the largest company offering access to an online marketplace.
