European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Airbus, the European multinational aerospace corporation has announced its plans to hire worldwide 13,000 people by 2023, 1,300 of them in Spain. This announcement responds to the expected increase in production ratios in all areas where Airbus operates, i.e. commercial aircraft, space, defence and helicopters. The majority of Airbus' job opportunities will be related to technical and manufacturing profiles, including new emerging areas such as renewable energies, cybersecurity and digital skills. It is expected that one third of the total recruitments will go to recent graduates.
