Europe’s largest software company SAP has announced plans to restructure it's global workforce, cutting 3000 jobs. The job cuts amount to approximately 2.5% of the company's global workforce and the restructuring has been announced in USA, Germany (SAP 2023 - DE) and Ireland (Dublin and Galway). The departments impacted has not been confirmed, neither the restructuring process for employees in different countries. The CEO has stated the restructuring plan is part of a new startegy to realign efforts in areas which have highest growth potential, while divesting from those which do not.
