Description
As announced on 26 January 2023, Europe’s largest software company SAP, will be cutting approximately 200 jobs in Germany until 2024 due to internal restructuring. This is part of a worldwide restructuring programme which will affect approximately 3,000 employees. SAP intends to save €350 million in costs annually. As of today, there are no specifics on the restructuring process for employees. SAP aims to focus more on the strongest areas of its portfolio which is software for corporate management (ERP).
SAP's global restructuring plan includes reducing its global workforce by 3000 employees and has been recorded in the ERM database (SAP-2022-WO).
