Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
AMA S.p.A. is the company in charge of waste management in Rome, plans to hire 600 new workers, net of outgoing rotations. The hirings will be carried out by 2025 and will mainly target ecological operators and waste collection workers. Other profiles such as plant operators and office workers may also be recruited.
The recruitment plan is part of the industrial plan 2023-2028 announced by the company. In addition to hiring, the company has planned an increase in the number of available vehicles (around 300 already in 2023), an increase in differentiated waste collection, and the improvement of logistics and facilities.
