Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Liebherr Aerospace Toulouse, which is specialised in air conditioning equipment for the aerospace industry, has announced the recruitment of 130 employees in 2023 for its sites in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) and Campsas (Tar-et-Garonne), France. The aeronautical equipment manufacturer, a subsidiary of the German group Liebherr Aerospace, is looking for skills ranging from CAP to doctorate and will be recruiting - as it did last year - profiles in engineering, production and supply chain. Most of the new positions will be created at the Toulouse site (110 positions), while around twenty new recruits are planned for the Campsas site. Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse employs 1,500 people at its two sites in the Toulouse region and has achieved a turnover of €457 million in 2021. A previous reorganisation has been recorded in the ERM Database in 2020 with 100 job cuts (FR-Liebherr.Aerospace-2020)
