Description

Cersanit is a producer of ceramic tiles and bathroom fittings, based in Poland. The company informed the Employment Office about planned reductions in its workforce. The company informed that the decision is a result of the increasing energy prices and economic losses suffered after the 2022 Starachowice Plant fire. The exact plan for lay-offs has not yet been communicated, however, the process will affect employees working in Wałbrzych, Krasny Staw, and Opoczno.

Cersanit started operations in Poland in 1992. Currently, the company employs 5,500 employees in seven locations world-wide.
