Description
The French subsidiary of the Canadian group Linamar, which manufactures precision cast iron and steel parts, has announced the recruitment of around 100 employees in 2023 for its Saint-Chamond site, where Linamar has invested in several new machining lines that are currently being installed.
The group is preparing to manufacture transmission parts for new Stellantis group vehicles - four hybrid models and one with a conventional engine.
The installation of the new lines will be accompanied by the recruitment of around one hundred people, mainly for production positions. These include roles for machine operators, adjusters, line drivers, as well as workers in the methods, quality, control and logistics departments.
In addition to using the public employment service (Pôle emploi) for recruitment, the company is supported by various public and private partners in financing training.
