Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Mahle Electric Drives Slovenija (MEDS), the German manufacturer of electric drive systems and mechatronics used in hybrid and electric vehicles, announced the creation of 150 jobs in the next two years. The new jobs positions will be for engineers.
According to CEO Guntham Gaas, the company increased sales in 2022 and expects to grow even more in the years ahead. Europe’s commitment to decarbonisation underpins the development and manufacturing of electric motors for electric vehicles.
MEDS is primarily a manufacturing company as well as one of the twelfth research and development centres within Mahle Group. The centre focuses on the development of e-mobility solutions, both hardware and software.
Currently, Mahle Electric Drives has 2,500 employees in several Slovenian locations.
