Description
HMF, Højbjerg Maskin Fabrik, is a Danish manufacturer of cranes and other lifting equipment. The company plans to dismiss up to 60 employees due to an expected decline in orders in 2023. The decline is due to expected lower activity in the transport sector globally because of higher interest rates and risk of economic recession. HMF is expecting a ten percent lower demand and are therefore dismissing about 10 per cent of the staff. The company will cooperate with the local job centers to ensure that the dismissed workers are aided in finding new positions elsewhere.
