Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Finnish-capital company, PKC Group Lithuania, engaged in manufacturing of wiring harness components, such as wires, connectors, terminals and others, has made an announcement it will create 100 new jobs in Klaipeda. The company plans to expand operations in its facility in Klaipeda, which manufactures wiring harnesses for commercial trucks and agricultural machines, and as a result it will be recruiting 100 new employees. PKC Group Lithuania will be looking for quality technicians, assembly operators, maintenance technicians and other professionals. Currently, PKC Group employs around 2,400 employees in Lithuania.
PKC Group Lithuania belongs to Motherson Group; the company designs, manufactures and integrates electrical distribution systems, electronics and related architectural components for the commercial vehicle industry. PKC Group was established in Lithuania in 2014, and currently it is one of the largest manufacturing companies in the country.
