Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Knorr-Bremse, a German manufacturer of braking systems for railway vehicles, has announced it will be opening a new production and service plant in Rzeszow-Dworzysko in January 2023, which will result in the creation of 350 jobs. Increasing demand was cited as a reason for this business expansion. About 80% of the new jobs created will be operational and production-related, but the company is also looking for managers and specialists.
Knorr-Bremse has ca. 28,000 employees worldwide. It has been operating in Poland since 1999, with company headquarters in Kraków.
