Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Aeronautical equipment manufacturer Aubert & Duval has announced the recruitment of 150 employees at its production sites in the Puydômois region by the end of the year. The sites at Puy-de-Dôme and Issoire are experiencing the effects of the upturn in the air transport sector and are gradually returning to their pre-crisis production rates. Aubert & Duval, a subsidiary of Eramet, recently organised conversion forums at its sites, to attract new recruits with profiles from other sectors, the military in particular. Positions are mainly open in production for specialised workers and technicians.
