Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Spanish pharmaceutical multinational company, Grifols has announced it will create 200 new jobs in Ireland within the next two years. The expansion is due to the company's new specialist plant in Dublin which will triple the annual filling production capacity of the company’s flexible container, the Albutein FlexBag. Grifols will be hiring for entry-level and specialist roles in manufacturing, logistics and packaging. Current roles on offer in Dublin include QC microbiologist, validation engineer, manufacturing filling process technician and maintenance automation engineer.
Grifols currently employs 300 people in Ireland, at its global manufacturing and supply hub in Dublin. The company has been operating in Ireland since 2012.
