Description
German producer of automotive lights, Hella Slovakia Lighting, announced a plan to employ 240 new workers in both manufacturing and logistics departments. The announcement comes after securing new contracts including with automotive manufacturer Daimler/Mercedes-Benz. In addition, the company plans to build a new Research & Development centre. The company produces interior automotive lights and lighting for car bodies in Trenčín, rear lights in Kočovce, Bánovce nad Bebravou and headlights in Kočovce.
Of the 240 new hires, 150 will be in manufacturing centres in the towns of Trenčín, Kočovce, Bánovce nad Bebravou, while 90 will be hired to support these new acquisitions/contracts, as well as to work in the newly established R&D centre.
As of October 2022, there is no information on when the new jobs will be created by.
