Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Bulgarian manufacturer of e-bikes, Leader-96, has announced it will be creating 330 new jobs at its new production facility in Plovdiv. The factory will aim to produce over 300 thousand e-bikes per year. The new factory will be managed by the majority owner of Leader-96, E-Velox.
The investment is worth BGN 50 million (EUR 25.6 million). The new facility will span on 47,000 sq. m and have a built-up area of 25,000 sq. m.
Two years ago, Leader-96 expanded its existing plant in the village of Rogosh by Plovdiv, the investment has been BGN 4 million (EUR 2 million).
