Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Spanish railway company Talgo has announced its plans to recruit more than 200 technical professionals across Spain. New roles will be for specialists in manufacturing and maintenance, mechanical, electrical, commissioning, painting, welding and warehouse equipment, as well as mechanical and electrical engineers. The railway company will offer new workers fixed salaries, flexible remuneration, as well as bonus schemes and social benefits, available for both staff and their families. In total, Talgo will be recruiting 98 people in Madrid, 10 in Barcelona, 2 in Malaga, 1 in Valladolid and 126 in Rivabellosa (Álava).
