European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ceramic tiles manufacturing scompany Todagres, which is based in Vila-real (Castellón) and is part of Fuertes Group, has informed its Works Committee of the start of a Redundancy Proceedings (ERE), which will involve all its 177 employees. The reason behind the restructuring is related to its is operational and economic difficulties over the years, according to sources from the Murcian Grupo Fuertes. The consultation period with the legal representatives of the workers will begin soon. The company has 140,000 m2 of industrial land and a built-up area of 50,816 m2, with facilities for the manufacture and management of Todagres Technical Porcelain Tile. It currently employs 177 people.
