European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
With the opening of a new gene therapy plant in Shannon, Ireland, multinational Biotech company MeiraGTx has announced it has created 300 new jobs. The company is currently recruiting for positions in engineering, QA, and manufacturing and supply. The first phase of recruitment will see 100 new jobs created, with plans to increase this to 300 as they scale up their manufacturing and testing production. The opening of the plant in September 2022 is the first commercial scale gene therapy manufacturing facility in Ireland.
