Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
French technology company Papernest, specialised in centralising and simplifying the management of clients' subscriptions and contracts, has announced the creation of 200 to 300 new jobs by 2023, after centralising its activities in a new 6,000 square metre office in the 22@ district, in Barcelona. The company expects to reach 900 employees in the Catalan capital (currently 700 employees), where it was established in 2018. In fact, Barcelona has become the company's main strategic hub in the European market, ahead of Paris and Reims.
The company operates in the markets of France, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany, and it currently has a global workforce of 1,000 employees.
