Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Garo Polska, a Polish branch of a electric vehicles equipment manufacturing group, announced the creation of 300 jobs in a new manufacturing site in Szczecin. Recruitment will start in April 2023. The company expects to employ mostly operational workers on the site that is currently under construction. The total investment in the new site is expected to be of EUR 10,000,000. The plant will produce charging stations for electric vehicles.
Garo is a Swedish group which has been present in Poland since 1996. Since 2012, it is also operating in the special economic zone in Szczecin. Currently, it employs around 50 people in Szczecin.
