Tutoring start-up GoStudent has announced to dismiss 200 employees worldwide by the end of 2022. Dismissals will happen in Vienna as well as other global locations. GoStudent is also planning to discontinue the business in the U.S. and to focus on markets of Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Great Britain, Italy and Spain.
The tech company provides online tutoring services to students across many countries. Founded in 2016, it currently employs 1,800 worldwide.
